Red spider lilies along Tsuya River banks

This tour is available only in the flowring season of spider lilies (Higanbana or Manjushage in Japanese). Usually it is from late September to early October in this area.

Around Nagoya, Handa City is also famous for red spider lily flowers. Spider lilies along Tsuya River are more natural, and usually there are less visitors.

Car parks are available in Tsuya, but number is limited. So I strongly recommend to take a local Yoro Line train from Ogaki JR Station.
