Amusement parks around Nagoya
There is no Disney Land nor Universal Studio around Nagoya. However, there are several amusement parks around Nagoya.
One is Monkey Park (photo) in Inuyama City, where Inuyama Castle is. Not as fancy as Disney Land. There are no mice here, but the price of one-day ticket is just about half of Disney Land. If you are with small children, you can enjoy for one whole day here.
For youth and teenagers, Nagashima Resort is recommended. There are world-class roller coasters and many other attractions. Some attractions have age and size limitations.
There are some other small amusement parks available around Nagoya.
Local guides available in Takayama/Shirakawago and Kanazawa
We now have some local guides in Takayama/Shirakawago and Kanazawa. They are all licensed. You send your customers from Tokyo, Osaka or Kyoto to Takayama and/or Kanazawa by bus or train without a guide, then we can assign local guides. However, they are all English-speaking guides.

One-day Kyoto Tours from Nagoya
Some people staying in Nagoya ask us for one-day Kyoto tour from Nagoya. If you like to see Kyoto just briefly, Nagoya is an ideal place actually. You can easily visit Kyoto within a day. So, why don't you visit Kyoto in addition to popular Takayama and Shirakawago?
Kyoto has a large cultural legacy coming from its 1200-year-long history and in this tour we select the three major popular destinations, Fushimi Inari Shrine, Kiyomizu-dera Temple and Kinkaku-ji Temple, where a lot of foreign tourists visit as well as Japanese tourists.
These three destinations are located distance away from each other; it is complicated to move by public transportation even for Japanese. So we offer a private car (Jumbo Taxi) with our government - licensed English-speaking guide to make your trip comfortable and fun.
We have prepared three itineraries below. Two of them are from Nagoya and another one is from Kyoto Station for those who starts the trip from Kyoto. All tours use a private car (10-seater jumbo taxi) and are quoted for 4 to 8 passengers. Price for smaller or larger group is available upon request.
Prices are applicable from December 2016 to March 2017, except year end and new year holidays.

Fushimi-Inari Shrine
This is chosen as No1 popular sightseeing spot in 2014 and 2015 by foreign tourists on Trip Advisor site. "Senbon-Torii" more than thousands red torii welcome you.
Fushimi-Inari Shrine is the headquarters of the 40,000 Inari shrines nationwide. It is the center for the belief in spiritual benefits.
Visitors to the shrine enter through a vermillion colored torii gate to the precinct and the main hall.
Visitors pray for health while passing through the Senbon-Torii, which lining the approach behind the main hall.
During the New Year season, Fushimi-Inari shrine is the most popular destination in the Kansai area.
Kiyomizu Temple
This temple predates the foundation of Kyoto and has had millions of pilgrims ever since. It is designated as a UNESCO World Heritage site with over 30 structures, including a huge wooden veranda in front of the main hall that juts out over the cliff and provides you a panoramic view of Kyoto.
There is a famous expression: that states "You must jump off the stage of Kiyomizu." It means that you should take the plunge to make your dreams come true.
Kinkaku-ji Temple
One of the Japan's most famous sight, Rokuonji Temple is better known as Kinkaku-ji Temple, or the Golden Pavilion, because of its dazzling gold-covered main hall, that seems to float above the surrounding pond.
The three-storied pavilion is covered in gold leaves and features a bronze phoenix on top of the roof.
The mirror-like reflection of the temple in the pond is extremely photogenic, especially with-snow landscape in winter is awesome!
It is one of the UNESCO Cultural Heritage site.
